Absolutely amazing. So fresh and full of flavor. The meats were extremely tender and juicy. They definitely know what they're doing here! On the pricer side compared to other restaurants in town, but you get what you pay for here. Good portions! Only thing I can say is, I wish the sides were warmer when brought out. I'd rather burn my tongue or wait, than it be on the cooler side. Coleslaw was extremely fresh & flavorful. The cornbread was out of this world good!! I really really really hope this restaurant thrives in L/A.
Love this place! Amazing food - the collard greens are a must-get. I think you get a great portion and left feeling full and happy. And the bar staff mix a mean cocktail as well - strong and flavorful.
Solid authentic BBQ spot for the state of Maine. Brisket had a nice smoke ring and had good flavor. Will definitely be coming back to satisfy my BBQ cravings.
Food was great, server’s first day, he was exceptional. We ordered the brisket platter, with 2 sides, Mac and cheese and pickled beets, also 1/4lb each of the pork burnt ends and beef burnt ends. Everything was delicious! The corn bread and honey butter was more like dessert, but that was ok with me. Go, go, go and enjoy yourself. The place was empty on a Monday at 330, service was quick.
So... I just tried Burnt Ends BBQ. I had to run to the reviews to post this. The back story. I legit haven't eaten in almost 40 hours. I had to have an Endoscopy Capsule test today. So you have to fast all day prior and then you can't eat till the following day after lunch. I was so hungry! So hungry that I cried on and off all day. I was finally able to eat. I called and ordered a Beef Brisket platter with fries and coleslaw and collard greens on the side. This was one of the best meals I've ever had in my life. It was made within the time frame I was given. It was hot and perfectly plated. Nothing was missing, nothing was wrong. The meat was phenomenal. I am severely Anemic so I needed beef and this hit the spot! The greens were amazing! Hot, flavorful, perfect texture and flavor. Fries were crispy and home made, coleslaw was crisp and cold. The corn bread with honey butter was moist and the perfect sweetness I needed. This meal was a 10 out of 10. I would highly recommend! I will deff be back!
Food was reasonably priced and tasted great. Inside was very nice and clean. My only complaint would be that the cornbread is served cold/chilled. If it was served hot, it would be so much better. I definitely will be back.
Open on Mondays! Full service bar with 10 beers on tap (soon to be 12). Event space in-house for 50 people! Full service catering available! Great food and great service! Homemade and fresh! Quality foods and brands whether beer, soda, or house made sauces! Pulled pork and chorizo is a favorite! Cornbread with honey butter is great! Mac and cheese is fabulous! Definitely a must try spot!
Fantastic! Brisket was perfectly cooked, prices were perfect. The staff was helpful and very accommodating. will be back. Best I've had in maine.
